Pole Tricks Classes

Pole Syllabus

Learn all of the tricks! In these classes you'll learn spins, poses, flips and transitions appropriate to your ability, linking moves in to combos when you're ready. Our instructors follow our in-house Pole Syllabus when planning these classes, ensuring every student has the opportunity to build the skills necessary for a strong, healthy, progressive pole journey.

Read the prerequisites for each class level to decide the best fit for you. Please note these prerequisites are a guide and may not apply to everybody in the same way. At Provocafit, we recognise that every body is different and our classes do not have a one-size-fits-all approach! If you're not sure or if you have any questions about which class would be most enjoyable for you, please email shona@provocafit.co.uk

Mastering Spin Pole

Spin pole is beautiful and can be so much fun, but there is so much that goes into making it look effortless and flowy! In this class, Jenna will help you elevate your spin technique and get you feeling confident and in control of your spin.

In these classes you will learn:

  • Level-appropriate moves or combos for spin pole each week

  • A variety of different entries onto your spins, and how to dismount gracefully with control

  • How to utilise your spin speed and work with it, not against it!

  • Practice proper technique, grips and muscle engagement to make your spins look smooth and effortless

Pole Fundamentals

Beginners Pole Course

Our Pole Fundamentals course is the perfect way to start your pole journey. We're currently updating how this runs - follow us on socials and sign up to our mailing list to hear updates!

Level 1

Suitable for complete beginners. You're able to lift both arms straight over head and you can rise on to your tiptoes.

Level 2

You're proficient in static spins with 3 points of contact and can hold 2+ types of pole seat. You can also climb on to the pole and hold yourself there.

Level 3

You can do hands-only static spins (e.g. chair or carousel) and can use a bracket grip or forearm grip. You can also do a layback, jasmine/half-star and can get inverted independently (either by inverting from the ground or transitioning from a climb).

Level 4

You can get inverted aerially (either through an aerial invert, or transitioning from a climb without losing much height). You can also use a brass grip and an inverted bracket grip (e.g. in a butterfly or inverted D).

Tricks in Heels

If you're gaining confidence on the pole and want to start learning how to dance through your trick in heels, this is the class for you! Each lesson, you'll learn 1-2 sequences incorporating spins, poses, dynamic transitions, low-flow and basework. The content in each class will be catered to the level of attendees. You should be working at a minimum of a Level 2 (see above) to attend these classes.

Pole heels are required for this class. Kneepads are highly recommended but will not be essential in every lesson.
